I would call Yellowknife the Land of Sunrises

The best thing is that you dan't have to compromise sleep to see them - this was at 10:10 AM outside the hospital window.

This was the very next day. I caught a UFO in this one ;)

I had a day off this morning so I bundled up and went for a walk out on the lake (-45 with WC).

There's a good couple hours on either side of the sunrise/set when the whole sky is baby blue, pink, and purple.
